Introduction
I would like to talk about the basic usage of Trailhead and the Salesforce certification, which can be considered the essence of Salesforce. First, in this post, I will focus on Trailhead. When you personally study Salesforce or start studying for work, you will definitely use Trailhead. It offers a vast amount of educational materials and a large community, so you will always find yourself using it for studying and work.
Trailhead

When you first visit the site, you will see this screen. Although it supports Korean, it is recommended to use English personally to become familiar with the language. While initial educational materials are available in Korean, as you progress to more advanced courses, they are often only available in English. It's fine to use translation tools for learning, but since there is a high probability that your company org is in service in English, it's time for you to get used to with English :)

If you encounter a 404 error after signing up or logging in, go back to the Trailhead page and click the login button again. You will be logged in immediately.

Most beginners in Salesforce usually start with the Admin (Administrator) path. Although there are cases where some people just jump into other paths... Personally, I highly recommend you study the admin course.
You can find the Admin course through the following steps:

In the screenshot above, it shows "Unfollow," but on your screen, it should show "Follow." The page you are currently viewing is the Trailmix page designed for those who want to get the Administrator Certification. Trailmix is composed of various modules, and each module consists of units.

Each unit usually has quizzes or practices. Quizzes are straightforward, where you make selections and see the results on the spot. The practice exercises are not too difficult either(?)—you follow the given requirements, perform the practice, and click "Verify" to confirm.

During the practice, you will create various playgrounds. If you feel that there are so many created playgrounds and need to take care of them, you can access the management page through the following steps:

Conclusion
The usage of Trailhead itself is not too difficult. With just one or two time uses, you will become familiar with how to use Trailhead. If you have followed the above steps well, you might have this question: "I just want to learn how to learn admin skills. I am not here to get a certification." If you have such a question, it means you have been attentive to my post or the exercises. Haha! The Admin Trailmix introduced earlier is a place where you can get the basic Admin knowledge required for the Admin Certification. So, if you complete the course, can you get the certification easily? No... you still need to contribute to preparing for the exam 😅.
If you prioritize getting the certification, you might think you can just skip the course and just focus on exam preparation. It is true that you can get the Admin certification by solely studying for the exam. However, other certifications after Admin have prerequisites. To acquire those certifications, you need to fulfill certain prerequisites, such as getting Certification A or completing a specific Superbadge...
In conclusion, you still need to study for both the how-to-use and certification. It seems that this post had more discussions about Salesforce certifications rather than Trailhead. Certifications are important. But once you get a certification, it will be out of your attention completely for a while. In the next post, I will dig into why we need certifications, how to get them, and how to study for them in detail.
